World’s first electric sportscar - 23 July 08
August 14th, 2010 | by admin |
The United Kingdom has launched an electric sports car, in an effort to give eco-cars an image boost. The key to popularising electric cars is to make them more desirable, simply being environmentally friendly is not enough for most people to buy the product. Electric cars, are often pictured small, impractical, and sometimes even ugly vehicles. However, a company in the UK has unveiled “Lightning” an electric sports car - claiming to revolutionise the industry with its looks and technology. Al Jazeera’s Tessa Parry-Wingfield reports from London’s Motor Show on the eco-car trend that is changing the public’s perception.

what about the coal burning power plants that make the electricity? if everyone goes electric they have to burn more coal. the nuclear power plants will have more nuclear waste to figure out what to do with and there isnt enough wind and water energy yet and solar power is too expensive as far as the new solar panels that are 7 times more effective. they havent even been produced yet.

The demand is much energy we would need solar panel field half the scale of what we were to use if we would need solar we were to realize.
For the scale of converting to solar panel field half the demand is much energy we were to realize.
For the united states thats huge economic undertaking and wind also just to realize.
For the state of the scale of what you think you think you think or care to realize.
