I am determined to start golfing!! I just need to know what I need to get started. What types of clubs are must haves and which ones are nice to have. Also, shoes? towels, balls, a bag? What else?

Until you are sure this is what you want to do…don’t go spend a fortune of gear. (I love golf and play everyday I can). You can start with clubs and bag from a thrift store. Towel can be gotten there too…just add a grommet so you can clip it to the bag. Balls, tees, glove, divot repairer and shoes. Once you are sure this is something you will continue to do you will have time to learn about different clubs, balls, etc. Clubs can be very expensive but you can find some good ones in whatever your budget may be.
