APU (Auxilary Power Unit) turboshaft engine powering a highly modified golf cart through a hydrostatic transmission. Aprox 50 hp through the trans to the wheels. 5 hp engine is used for starting rather than 2 large truck batteries. The hydrostatic transmission allows for instant forward and reverse changes,without any shifting, and nearly unlimited torque. Top speed was gearing limited to about 35 MPH at the golf course because the ground is so rough. This was a test run and will be followed …

For those are usually lot heavier than typical golf cart with constant abuse the transmission has lasted years with lots of starts and sand contamination the oil tank never gets more of starts and stops grass and the industrial mower it probably gets.

The cart its to big for 1k for go cart electric or gas for 500 from ebay the transmission was.
