EZGO Electric Golf Cart Parts?
October 29th, 2009 | by admin |lapdcentral asked:
I picked up a used EZGO TXT Electric golf cart. Not sure of the year, somewhere i’d say between 1995 and 2000. Anyway, it has everything (steering, wheels, body, frame, transaxle, etc) EXCEPT for electrical components. This mite b a long question to answer, but i would like a list of all the electric parts i would need to create a running cart, based on the old solenoid or resistor board and coil style of cart, as i believe this would be the easiest and cheapest style to create. I need everything from the electric motor to the 6 deep cycle batteries to the type of wiring used to the microswitches to the charger plug etc. I would also accept a components list for one of the newer computer controlled carts if that’s all you know, but anything would help. If you have the time, I would appreciate it if you told me how to connect all the parts together, I looked at a wiring diagram but some parts still confuse me. Parts from any EZGO, Club Car or Yamaha electric cart accepted. Thanks y’all!
The idea of the cart is that it’s supposed to be a fun project cart to fix up to working standard. I know some people who can get me used good quality parts very cheap, I just need to know the names of all the parts.

Not to give you a short answer but I would really consider selling what you have and buy a running cart. To buy motors….switches….silenoids…wiring….and on and on….you will have a small fortune invested. Best of luck to you!
