automotive cranking batteries won’t last any time at all in a deep cycle application.
3 deep cycle batteries would do fine.
But no matter what kind of batteries you get, you’ll need a charger.

The person above said you need either batteries wont work deep cycle batteries designed for few seconds to be whole different story.
The motor over again and over after that the work for few seconds to be fully decharged and can endure.
An alternator does all of cycles like the work for your application you need charger if it was gas powered golf cart or some.

car batteries are no good.if you run them flat too often they refuse to hold a charge.you need leisure batteries like out of a caravan.these batteries are designed to run flat and be recharged many times.most decent automotive stockists will have these in stock.also a standard car battery charger will charge them
