the golf cart has a two stroke motor that puts out 12 volts. the make is e-z go and i need to know can i use a regulator from like a Volkswagen or similar for a replacement. i am trying to help a neighbor of mine that had a stroke recently and cant afford the oem replacement. this is his only means of getting to the store or anywhere. I don’t want to replace it and have it mess something up down the line. any help would be appreciated.
