golf cart
Jimmy Harris asked:

Finding Arizona golf carts really isn’t hard today. In fact, all you really have to do is go to Craigslist, eBay, or look in your local classifieds, and you will find many for sale in the state.

Carts are no longer just used on the golf course-nowadays they are used by businesses and individuals alike, for all kinds of things.

The typical golf cart is able to hold between two and four people, is 6 feet high, and eight feet long. Therefore, they are very mobile, can fit into tall spaces, and are still quick enough to get around the area you need to cover much quicker than walking.

In fact, most Arizona golf carts that will not be used for the golf course are much faster than the carts you are used to riding in on the course, because most of the carts on the course are electronically limited so that they can’t go above a certain speed.

You can either have this removed when buying a golf cart for other purposes, or simply buy one without it altogether, and when you do so, you might be surprised how fast golf carts can really move.

Of course, this doesn’t answer the most important question-how do you find the best Arizona golf cart? After all, there are many for sale, and you want to find the best deal possible, right?

It used to be a difficult choice as to which kind of cart to get-gas or electric. Nowadays, however, that choice is very easy, since electric have many advantages over gas. They are much easier on the environment, always a plus.

They also help you save money on gas, without the typical drawbacks associated with electric golf carts. Most people still think you need to recharge them every time out, and that will take a long time to do so.

The reality is that there are many long lasting batteries you can buy that will dramatically increase the life of your Arizona golf cart, and so you don’t have to worry about constantly recharging it.

Where can you find the best golf carts Arizona has? Doing searches on eBay and Amazon is a smart way to start, as you can do location specific searches on these sites, and you can generally find some low priced deals here, much more so than if you were to go to a dealership.

Of course, a general internet search will bring up sites devoted solely to golf carts, which will give you more options to choose from. Also check your local papers and see what’s available. Finally, don’t forget to go down to the course and see what’s available, as courses get rid of their old carts and get a fleet of new ones from time to time, and if you’re timing is right, you can find some real bargains.

Since they are selling so many carts at once, and just want to get rid of them to make way for the new fleet, they will accept cheaper prices than you’d find online or anywhere else, so definitely take advantage of this. Regardless of where you look for Arizona golf carts, remember that electric is the way to go.

Boris Tomson asked:

Give your Back a Break on the Golf Course

Are you a novice golf player that wants to take your game to the next level? Are you tired of lugging your golf bag around the course? Well, there are several options available and it really depends on how much you?re willing to spend. Golf carts and golf caddie carts come in a wide variety to help you take some weight off your shoulders and enjoy your game more.Visit to : http://golfclub-review.blogspot.com

Most golf courses can rent you a caddie or cart but that can add up especially if you plan on playing frequently. You also will feel better owning something that you can call your own and personalizing it. And let?s face it; it can also be a status thing so you can impress your golfing buddies.

Let?s start with golf carts since that is what the pro player wants. These come in a variety of sizes and options. There are gas powered ones which are better for larger courses since they don?t rely on recharging but they have a downside. Gas powered carts can be noisy and emit exhaust which can be bothersome to you and other players on the course. Most choose an electric golf cart since they are quiet and since golf courses provide charging stations. If you?re planning on doing a lot of driving then electric carts can be purchased with longer battery life.

Golf carts range in size and brand. There are reputable brands and some that are not as common but in any case most come with a warranty. If you have deep pockets and you really want something luxurious (and to impress your friends) there are even carts made by Rolls Royce and Jeep. These kinds of carts can be customized with many different options and are more for status purposes than for utilitarian purposes.

If you don?t want to invest that much money into a cart but still want something to help with lugging your equipment around the course then think about getting a caddie cart. These range in price from a very basic model at about 60 dollars to ones with many features upwards of 1000 dollars. Features vary but many are again just bells and whistles and not really to improve your game. Some come with a water dispenser which can come in handy while you?re out on the course during your golf vacations.http://golfclub-review.blogspot.com

Golf caddies and carts can be found by shopping around on line or at pro golf shops. Before you buy a cart, make sure you take it for a test drive. There is sure to be a well stocked shop if you live in a city that has several golf courses but it?ll be more challenging if you don?t. Also ask other golfers who have carts for their recommendations and check out reviews online

If you?re serious about golf and don?t want to break your back then look into purchasing a golf cart or caddie cart. It will make your game more enjoyable. http://golfclub-review.blogspot.com

Max Johnson asked:

Everyone knows that walking is the most fundamental of all exercise programs. So it makes sense that walking a golf course with a push cart would be considered good for you. This simply has not always been the case though. Due to the start and stop that happens during the round, many have argued that walking with a push cart is not beneficial to your exercise program.

I would suggest that these people have never tried to walk eighteen holes in less than four hours. You basically are taking a 4-5 mile walk every time that you play eighteen holes. In addition, the course has many elevation changes up and down to further add benefits to the activity.

Researcher Gi Magnusson calculates that four hours of playing golf (walking) is comparable to a 45-minute fitness class.”

The health benefits of golf are also highlighted in various studies done around the world. Researchers in Sweden found that walking golf equated to 40-percent to 70-percent of the intensity of a maximum aerobic workout, assuming you are walking 18 holes. In the second study cited, cardiologist Dr. Edward A. Palank’s study showed that walking golfers reduced their levels of bad cholesterol while keeping their good cholesterol steady; the control group of riding golfers failed to show those good results.

As David Fay of the USGA has written, “We strongly believe that walking is the most enjoyable way to play golf and that the use of carts is detrimental to the game. This negative trend needs to be stopped now before it becomes accepted that riding in a cart is the way to play golf.”

Not to sound funny but walking a course gets you closer to the golf course. It is a totally different experience using a push cart across the terrain as opposed to hopping in a regular golf cart. I have found that I am able to learn more about a golf course that I have walked as opposed to those that I ride. Walking with a push cart allows you to gain an appreciation for the nuances of a golf course that just are not visible from a golf cart.

In just the last few years, golf push carts have been revitalized. The baby boomers are retiring and trying to stay in shape as well as the rest of the nation becoming more and more health conscious, using a push cart is much easier than trying to pull a cart or lug a golf bag around the golf course. The new walking golf carts are not your dad’s old aluminum tripod with the hard plastic wheels on it. Today, push carts feature tires that look more like bicycle tires that allow you to easily walk the golf course. In addition, there are many golf cart accessories that make you round more enjoyable. Attachments for a water bottle, scorecard, umbrella and even a cell phone are available to have a customized golf cart that helps you enjoy the game.

Max Johnson asked:

The more you play golf, the more sensitive you are likely to become to the golf bag that you choose to use for your game. You can choose golf equipment that meets a variety of practical needs, while also selecting from a range of styles that express the correct tone for who you are as a golfer. Golf bags are no exception to this rule. The golf bag you choose will not only play an important role in your game on a practical level by determining the accessibility and protection of your clubs. It sends a message to spectators and fellow golfers regarding your attitude and capabilities in the game of golf.

When selecting a golf bag, you will first choose between two important styles: cart bags and stand carry bags. The golf cart bag is designed for play with a golf cart. A cart-style bag can typically offer a wide variety of features, pockets and extra storage that a stand carry bag may not have. When the golf cart is going to be the chief mode of transportation for your clubs and other equipment, choosing a solid, durable, and well-equipped cart bag allows you to maximize the equipment you carry as well as the way you carry it.

The second major type of golf bag is a golf stand carry bag. This type of bag differs from a golf cart bag because it is designed to be carried not by the golf cart, but by the golfer. Therefore, one of the most noticeable differences between the two is the bag’s layout. A bag meant to be carried will come with one or two shoulder straps, and will also be equipped with strong but lightweight legs to prop the bag up when you stop to take a shot. Stand carry bags are also known for being lightweight while still strong and durable. The more streamlined the bag’s features are, the easier it is for you to carry your gear as you traverse the course on foot.

Therefore, each of the two major golf bag styles presents different advantages, depending on what you are looking for in your game. If you and those with whom you play prefer golf carts, then the golf cart bag is certainly the preferred style for you. This type is a durable, protective bag that presents to you many options in terms of extra storage and features. For golfers who walk, a golf stand carry bag is the route to go. Designed to be lightweight, durable, protective and easy to carry, a carry bag gives you everything you need with nothing you don’t.

Ultimately, you should buy your golf bag based on personal preference and style. Determine which type of bag you prefer, or have one of each for varying games. Then assess the features offered by each bag and compare them to your own needs and preferences as a golfer. Lastly, style can also play a role in your selection. Weigh these factors to select a golf bag that is right for you as a golfer and as an individual.

Peter Cunningham asked:

As with any other sport to play golf you need to ensure that you have the correct equipment so that you can play golf correctly. Hopefully this article will provide you with a basic understanding as to what is required.

Basically, there are two main components to play golf - there are the golf ball and the golf clubs. The golf ball is not just a ball it is a scientifically designed piece of equipment. The dimples on a golf ball are designed so that there is less resistance in the air - if you look closely at different brands of golf ball the dimples are slightly different and it you count the dimples on a golf ball some balls have more than others. The inside of the golf ball is also different - this inside of the ball is normally determined by how much spin you want to be able to impart onto the ball, both in the air and upon contact with the ground.

There are numerous different varieties of golf clubs available at present, these are the driver, fairway wood, utility club sometimes also known as a hybrid club, irons, wedge and putter. Each of these different varieties has their relevant use on the golf course. For example the driver is the club which you use from the tee when you want to make a shot which goes a long way, the wedge is used for the short approach aspect of the game when you are coming into the green and of course the putter is used when you are on the green. Which club you decide to use for each shot is individual choice and can depend upon numerous things, game style, course style, ball lie, distance etc etc.

To make it easier to transport your golf clubs, both on and off the course you require something to carry them in. This is where the golf bag is used. The golf bag is used more than just for carrying your clubs however, it is also a piece of equipment which you use to protect your golf clubs. There are numerous varieties of golf bag available and the choice bag is down to both personal preference and requirements. For example if you will not be using a golf cart then a stand bag will probably be your requirement, however if you will be using a golf cart then it may be more beneficial to use a cart bag. The golf bag will protect your golf clubs from banging into each other and also protect the shafts against wear. The golf bag is of course able to carry other things other than your clubs, there are numerous pockets on the bag where you can put your golf balls, tees, drinks, waterproofs etc.

Another good item which is used to protect your golf clubs (normally your woods) is the golf head cover, this is a device which slides over the club and protect the club from damage.

If you are going to be playing on a golf course then you will need good grip. To facilitate this you will require a good quality set of golf shoes, Golf shoes are different to normal shoes as they have ’spikes’ on them - these are so that you feet grip into the ground when you are making your swing. Slipping when you make your swing can have disastrous results - in some cases it can cause you to miss the ball altogether. These spikes come in all sorts of varieties, however soft spikes are the normal preference as they do not cause and damage to the greens when you walk on them. Golf shoes do more than just assist you in retaining your grip - the also give you the ability to keep your feet dry. When choosing a pair of golf shoes choose a pair which are sturdy, however they need to be comfortable as you could be walking a long way in them. If you do not feel comfortable in your shoes you will definitely not be able to concentrate on your game and could even do some damage to your feet.

You will require some tees. Tees are either made from wood or plastic and are used when you are teeing off on a hole. You balance the ball on the top of the tee and strike the ball from it rather than from the ground.

Most golfers tend to wear a golf glove. The golf glove is normally worn on the other hand to your ‘master hand’; therefore if you are right handed you would wear the glove on your left hand. The glove is there to prevent the club from slipping in your hand and assist you in getting a better grip on the club. There are various types of glove available, you need to ensure that the glove is a good fit and is like a secondary piece of skin.

When you play golf there is a lot of walking involved which is why a lot of golfers invest in a golf cart. There are 2 different varieties of golf cart available, there is the manual cart which you either push or pull and there is the electric cart which is driven by an electric motor. In your golf bag will be a lot of equipment and the bag can be heavy, it will also feel a lot heavier as the round goes on. When you use a golf cart you place the bag onto the cart and pull or push the cart along. This makes the round a lot less tiring and therefore a lot more enjoyable.

You can purchase golf equipment from various shops both online and offline. Golf equipment can be expensive to purchase initially, therefore if you are on a budget you can look into purchasing second hand equipment. The Internet is a fantastic resource for locating good equipment. All golf equipment is not alike, however which is why it is recommended that you investigate each product prior to purchase.
